About
I'm Bjorn. I build things, write code, and think about how technology changes the way we live.
Daymark is where I collect my thinking — notes on projects I'm building, programming techniques I've found useful, and broader observations on science, philosophy, and the evolution of society through technology.
The name comes from nautical navigation: a daymark is a fixed visual reference point that helps you find your bearing. That's what I want this site to be — a reference point for ideas worth returning to.
What I write about
- Projects — Things I'm building and the decisions behind them
- Programming — Techniques, patterns, and tools that have earned their place
- Science & philosophy — How we understand the world and our place in it
- Technology & society — How software and systems reshape culture
